The CarbonNeutral Company privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) is designed to inform you, as a user of the Website about the types of information that The CarbonNeutral Company may gather about or collect from you in connection with your use of the Website. It also is intended to explain the conditions under which The CarbonNeutral Company uses and discloses that information, and your rights in relation to that information. The CarbonNeutral Company will use and disclose such Personally-Identifying Information as described herein.
Personally-Identifying Information Submitted by Using the Business Carbon Calculator
In addition to the Non-Personally-Identifying Information provided by users of the Business Offset Calculator (as described in the Section titled “Offset Calculators” above), users of the Business Carbon Calculator may also provide the following Personally-Identifying Information through their use of the Business Carbon Calculator: the business site’s country location. The CarbonNeutral Company will use and disclose such Personally-Identifying Information as described herein.

- (1) Users of the Personal Offset Calculator will submit individual or collective household information including (a) flight airport pairings with the class of flights and the number of people flying; (b) the number of flights and the type of flight; (c) the specific car or general class of car driven and how much it has been used; (d) the amount of energy used (e.g., electricity, compressed gas, oil, LPG) over a specified time period; (e) the percentage of electricity that comes from clean, renewable sources such as solar wind; (f) the amount of non-recycled waste produced over a specified time period; (g) the amount and frequency of regular travel (i.e., commuting) including by car, motorcycle, train, light rail or tram, bus or coach, tube or subway, and ferry; (h) manually entered tonnes of emissions; (i) a choice of carbon offset portfolio;
- (2) Users of the Business Carbon Calculator will submit information including (a) the number of employees; (b) the floor area; amount of electricity, natural gas and oil used; and the amount of incinerated waste and waste delivered to landfill, for every site and location of the business during the specified time period; (c) the distance driven or amount of fuel used (e.g., petrol, diesel, LPG) for vehicles owned or operated by the company and those used in business travel by the company; (d) other business travel (distance and/or quantity) by taxi, train, and flights (short-haul and long-haul); (e) the amount of regular travel to work by employees and the corresponding distance (i.e., commuting) which including by car, motorcycle, train, light rail or tram, bus or coach, tube or subway, and ferry.
Campaigns and Surveys
