Located in the state of Rajasthan in North West India, this wind power project delivers zero-emission electricity to
India's Northern and North Eastern power grid . The wind farm consists of 242 turbines; each with a capacity of 0.8 MW giving a total capacity of 194 MW, which generates approximately 375,000 MWh of clean renewable electricity annually. India’s rapid population growth has meant increasing pressure on electricity generating capacity, 70% of which is currently supplied by fossil fuels. The project is validated and verified to the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS).
